I love pizza but as a vegan, it can be difficult to find suitable ones at the supermarket or at the restaurant. I thought that coming up with an easy version to make at home would be the perfect solution to this problem. And guess what? I succeeded!
No need to store that dough in the refrigerator, no need for a big mixer… In fact, all you need beside the ingredients are your hands, a wooden spoon and about 10 minutes. Did that get your attention? Yes, it is THAT simple.
10-15 minutes of preparation, which includes chopping the veggies you want to use and 15-20 minutes of baking time is that there is to it. the simplicity doesn’t take away the deliciousness, I promise.

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoke paprika optional but recommended
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules optional but recommended
- 1 cup water approcimately
- 1 tbsp olive oil + some to brush the crust
- pizza sauce to taste
- 1 tsp fine herbs dried of fresh
- non-dairy cheese My favorite is Gusta Original
- topping of your choice I used pepper, mushrooms and brocoli
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika and garlic granules. Combine well and set aside
In a measuring cup, start by using 3/4 cup of water combined with 1 tablespoon of oilive oil. Keep the rest of th water, 1.4 cup, aside
Slowly add the water mixture to the dry ingredients
Using your hands or a wooden spoon, mix until the dough is well combined, soft (not sticky). If your dough is too dry, add a tablespoon of water and repeat if necessary
Lightly flour your working space and a rolling pin. Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle. Using your hands, perfect the circle
Place the pizza dough on a nonstick pizza baking tray (you cnause a regular baking tray as well). Spread a nice layer of pizza sauce, sprinkle with the fine herbs and cover with your favorite non-dairy cheese. Top with veggies of your choice
Place in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden
