These little (and very tasty) fellas really are the perfect way to get the December festivities going! I know I will be enjoying some with a nice hot chocolate later today, while continuing with the Christmas decorations in our home.

Servings 22 small ones
- 2 1/4 cups unbleached all purposed flour
- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tspp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tspp baking soda
- 3/4 cup melted margarine cooled
- 1/4 cup molasses
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
Add all ingredients to a bowl and knead until you obtain a all combined ball of dough. If too dry, add water by wetting your fingers before kneading more.
Lightly flour a surface.
Roll the dough and use a cookie cutter of your desired shape.
Place them on a baking tray and bake for 13-15 minutes.
If you decorate them, make sure you let them cool down first.
