Festive Stuffed Rolls

  • 2 x 227g packs of mushroom minced
  • 1 x 340g pack of minced faux-meat ie: Gardein
  • 1 onion minced
  • 2/3 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp mustard powder
  • 6 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 celery branch thinly sliced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 packs of 12 little bread rolls


  1. In an oiled skillet at high heat, cooked the cook the minced faux-meat for approximately 2-3 minutes, continually stirring.
  2. Add the mushrooms, garlic, onion and celery and cook for a further 3 minutes, stirring.
  3. Add vegetable broth, mustard powder and ketchup and simmer approximately 15 minutes, until the liquid is almost all absorbed.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste
  5. Filled the rolls with the mixture and put on a cooking tray
  6. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F
  7. Serve immediately


You can keep some in the refrigerator or freeze them (before baking them). Simply fill the rolls with the warm mixture, let cool and freeze/refrigerate away!
